Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) està realitzant una prova pilot amb els treballadors de les sis estacions d’esquí i muntanya que gestiona per millorar la seguretat a les pistes a través d’un innovador dispostiu que, quan la persona l’activa, monitoritza en temps real i de forma immediata la seva posició. Aquesta prova, que es realitza conjuntament amb Caser, és fruït de l’acord de col·laboració signat entre les dues parts amb l’objectiu de reforçar la seguretat per als equips de les estacions de muntanya d’FGC: La Molina, Vall de Núria, Vallter, Espot Esquí, Port Ainé i Boí Taüll.
El giny, anomenat Snowfy, és un aparell dissenyat per proporcionar un control més eficient de les persones en cas d’incident. D’aquesta manera, la seva utilització permet els treballadors i treballadores de les estacions, especialment maquinistes, personal de producció de neu, písters i plantilla de manteniment, activar-lo en cas d’incident, a través d’una estrebada del dispositiu. Aquest gest activa directament un senyal d’alarma al telèfon mòbil al qual estigui associat, ja sigui el centre de control o el personal de guàrdia.
Durant els mesos de gener i febrer, s’han fet les formacions sobre aquest dispositiu al personal de les estacions de muntanya d’FGC Turisme. En total, portaran aquest nou aparell un total de 162 persones.
El president d’FGC, Carles Ruiz Novella, explica que amb aquesta prova pilot “reforcem un dels elements que més tenim en compte en els nostres treballadors: la seguretat. I, a més, ho fem apostant per sistemes innovadors que ens permeten obrir camí i estar a l’avanguarda de les noves tecnologies aplicades a les estacions d’esquí, amb l’objectiu d’estar preparats per afrontar els reptes de seguretat i eficiència que exigeix la gestió d’unes estacions de montanya modernes”.
Per a Gloria López Raposo, directora Comercial de Prospecció a Caser, “aquest acord és un pas més en la nostra aposta per donar suport als esports de neu i contribuir al desenvolupament de les tecnologies que marquin la diferència en l’experiència a les persones que treballen a les estacions d’esquí i als propis esquiadors esquiadors”.
